- Extensive children's literacy collections including, emergent literacy reading materials
- Professional resource staff
- Community outreach initiatives
- Guest reading and story time delivery (e.g. House of Friendship parent groups, summer programs with Big Brothers Big Sisters, community centres, and various Family and Children Services of Waterloo Region programs)
