- We help students requiring emergent literacy or additional communication support through specialized programs both on an individual and classroom basis

- Students in Senior Kindergarten to Grade 3
- Students requiring Augmentative and Alternative Communication Support
- Students in congregated classrooms and/or specialized programs

- Schools in the Region of Waterloo including the cities of Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo and the townships of North Dumfries, Wellesley, Wilmot and Woolwich
How do we provide early literacy support for families/caregivers?
- Consultation to teachers
- Suggestions offered to families for home speech, language and literacy activities
- Newsletter items about literacy offered to schools
- Referrals to other agencies as required
- Promote speaking and listening skills in students through consultation in the classroom and therapy activities
How do we provide early literacy support for service providers?
- Consultation provided to educators on an individual basis
- Speech, language and early literacy in-services to educational staff
